Max Feldschuh

December 20, 2012 is the release date of a new album featuring Max.  The recording by THE JAM SESSION is entitled LIVE ON THURSDAY NIGHTS.  It is available at:

Max will be featured on WPPB 88.3 FM on Wednesday,  April 25, 2012 from  7:00 - 8:00 PM.  Jim Cammack and Max were the guest members of The Thursday Night Live Band at PAGE in Sag Harbor on March 22, when this was recorded.  Jim has been Ahmad Jamal's bass player for the past 28 years. In January of 2012, Max will be recording on Korean pianist Hyun An's new album.  Seongdeok Cho is on bass, and renowned percussionist Billy Drummond plays drums.

Max is performing on Thursday evenings in New York City with Fina Estampa, an Afro-Peruvian/Jazz group.  See Upcoming Events for dates.  They begin recording an album in mid December of 2011.

On November 10, 2011, Max performed in ALL THAT JAZZ an All Star Benefit Concert for the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY.  Band members were Randy Brecker, Morris Goldberg, Jim Campagnola, Ada Rovatti, Claes Brondal, Richie Siegler, Peter Weiss, Bill Smith, Rashid Lanie, Bryan Campbell and Max Feldschuh.  Will be aired on WPPB 88.3 FM on Wed. In October of 2011, Max played in a rare performance of the Teddy Charles Tentet at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC.  

In August of 2011, Max recorded in Ghana, Africa with master drummer Okoe Ardyfio's drum and dance troupe.  The album and video have been released in Ghana, CD to be available in U.S. in December, 2012.
